Dr. Leslie A. Elston

Hello.  I am Dr. Elston and I have owned Mountain View Dentistry since 1999. 

I am a graduate of the University of Maine Orono and UCONN School of Dental Medicine located in Farmington, Connecticut where I received several distinctions upon graduation.

I attended a General Practice Residency in Honolulu, Hawaii from 1996-1997 and then worked as an associate with a terrific restorative/cosmetic dentist until my purchase of Mountain View Dentistry in 1999.

I am strongly committed to continuing education in order to provide my patients with the most current and scientifically founded care.  I have affiliations with the Academy of General Dentistry and hope to obtain my fellowship in 2010.  I also am a member in the American Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Maine Dental Association and the New England Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.                                                               

I enjoy providing the best care I can to my patients- be it a single tooth restoration or a complete smile makeover -in a caring, professional yet relaxed environment.  I understand that many of us have trepidations when it comes to dental care and I will always endeavor to make my patients as comfortable as possible. 

I am honored to work with the wonderful and committed team that I have.  Each staff member gives their all to ensure our patients receive the best care and service we can provide.

While I enjoy all phases of dentistry, I especially enjoy completing smile makeovers as they provide an outlet for my artistic side.  I love the pleasure that my patients receive from achieving a smile that boosts their self-confidence and radiates health.

Aside from dentistry, horses are my other passion in life.  I am lucky to have my horses at home with me and pursue the sport of dressage and have recently decided to take up eventing ( cross country jumping)…this is a learning curve indeed… probably best left to the young but why not the young at heart too!
